HAZEL BOWERS has worked at most of the area's theatres over the course of her long career, as an Actress, a Dialect Coach, and Assistant Director.
She has received five Barrymore Award nominations, winning in 2002 for the role of Meg in The Birthday Party (Lantern Theatre).
Favorite roles include: Nurse in Romeo & Juliet (Bristol Riverside), Professor Ashford in Wit (Philadelphia Theatre Company), Blind Hannah in Conversations with my Father (Walnut Street Theatre), Lady Britomart/Rummy/Mrs. Bains in Major Barbara (Arden Theatre Co), Mother Superior in Agnes of God (Luna Theater) and her one and only musical!-Madame Armfeld in A Little Night Music (Bristol Riverside), Mother Courage in Mother Courage (Wilma Theatre)
